Do you know what each of your trucks made last month?
Not the fleet total — each truck. B&HF reconciles your settlements, fuel, and factoring every month and hands you per-truck profit, your real cost per mile, and IFTA-ready records by the 10th — for brand-new authorities and seasoned carriers alike.
What’s handled every month
Built for 1-truck owner-operators — especially in their first 24 months of authority — leased-on owner-operators, and 2–5 truck fleets running dry van, reefer, flatbed, hotshot, or box truck. Running more than 5 trucks? Ask for a custom quote.

How it works
Common questions
Do you file my IFTA return, or just track the records?
Both options exist. Every plan includes IFTA-ready tracking all quarter plus a quarterly worksheet you (or your CPA) can file from. If you’d rather hand it off completely, the IFTA filing add-on prepares and files the return — you approve it in writing first, and the fuel tax itself is always paid by you directly to your base state.
I factor my loads. Can you work with my factoring company?
Yes. Settlement and factoring reconciliation is built into every plan. With the factoring package add-on, we also assemble and submit your invoice packages to your factor, check broker credit where the portal allows, and track advances, reserves, and chargebacks. You choose your own factoring company — we can introduce you to TAFS, but it’s never required. One honest note: factoring is usually recourse, so if a broker doesn’t pay, that chargeback risk stays with your company — no bookkeeper can take that off your plate.
Do you do taxes or dispatch?
No — and that’s deliberate. We keep your books CPA-ready all year, prepare a year-end package your tax pro will actually enjoy, and include tax-estimate worksheets — but we don’t file income taxes or give tax advice. And we don’t dispatch: no load booking, no rate negotiation. We’re your back office, not your dispatcher.
What does the QuickBooks discount actually save me?
As a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, clients set up through B&HF get 30% off a new QuickBooks Online subscription for 12 months. Per-truck profit tracking needs QBO Plus ($140/mo) — 30% off saves you $504 in year one. The catch is timing: the discount only applies if your subscription is set up through us before you sign up on your own, and your company owns the file either way.
I’m months behind on my books. Can you still help?
That’s exactly what cleanup is for. Start with the free review — we’ll tell you honestly how bad it is and give you a fixed written quote (minimum $500, 50% upfront) before any work begins. No hourly meter running while you wonder what the bill will be.
Is there a contract? What if I want to cancel?
No long-term contract. Plans are month-to-month and billed by autopay on the 1st of each month, and you can cancel with 30 days’ written notice. Your books and your QuickBooks file are yours.
About B&HF
B&HF Trucking Services is run by an accounting professional with a Bachelor’s in Accounting, an MBA, and 10+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping and financial reporting — who also owned and operated a small trucking fleet. That combination is the whole point: your books are kept by someone who knows what a settlement statement, a lumper receipt, and an IFTA quarter actually look like from the driver’s seat.
The practice works in QuickBooks Online daily, with experience across NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Bill.com, Expensify, and Ramp. Based in Alabama, serving carriers nationwide — everything is handled remotely and securely.
